Tricia Wheeler is a self-taught artist based in the Boston Metrowest region of Massachusetts.
Tricia, along with her husband and sons, took full advantage of the freedom that homeschooling allows by crisscrossing the US several times in their camper. Together, she and her family visited over 100 national and state parks, historical monuments, and conservation areas. Tricia’s work is strongly influenced by the wild unspoiled beauty she experienced on those travels.
Her work explores the relationship between light and color primarily through acrylics, alcohol ink, and resin. Most recently, she has been experimenting with color mixing in polymer clay.
At the end of 2019 Tricia’s work started to gain a wider audience and led to the launch of WiserLass.com in 2020.
